Kafilat Afolabi
Welfare Officer
Kafilat Afolabi is a Welfare Officer dedicated to nurturing safe, supportive, and inclusive spaces where artists and creatives can do their best work. She serves as a trusted and confidential point of contact for cast and crew, offering a listening ear, practical support, and guidance on wellbeing, communication, and duty-of-care practices throughout rehearsals, technical periods, and performances.
With a calm, approachable, and empathetic presence, Kafilat plays an active role in fostering healthy working environments, particularly during high-pressure moments such as intense rehearsals and production weeks. She helps ensure that company policies are understood and respected, monitors working conditions and morale, and supports open dialogue between creatives, production teams, and management when concerns arise.
By prioritising care, respect, and clear communication, Kafilat helps create a culture where everyone feels seen, valued, and supported. Her work allows creativity to flourish without compromise, ensuring that wellbeing remains at the heart of Kininso Koncepts’ artistic practice.
