Sandscape is a silent performance that beautifully embraces the essence of nature, utilizing sand to create visually appealing forms. Designed for children aged 2-7 years, this piece toured eight cities and theatres, including Z-arts in Manchester, Full House Theatre in Luton, Gulbenkian Art Centre in Kent, Polka Theatre in London, Belfast Theatre, Theatre Royal Bath, and The Met Theatre in Bury.

In addition to Sandscape the team presented a two man piece titled Waterside at the University of Leeds and Capstone Theatre in Liverpool. They were invited by the African Leadership Center and King’s Global Institutes of King’s College London to participate in Africa Week from March 3rd to March 7th. They engaged in a research-led panel discussion with esteemed King’s researchers, including Raidat Karim, Dr. Adelene Buckland, Dr. Ella Parry-Davies, and Dr. Clement Sefa-Nyarko, moderated by Annabel Ali.

On March 4, 2025, Creative Director Joshua Alabi led a workshop at King’s College London, focusing on storytelling, experimentation, and personal experience as essential tools for theatre. Participants engaged in physical theatre exercises to enhance group collaboration and sharpen their senses, while also learning songs to sing together. The insights gained from these activities were compiled to create short performances addressing themes of migration, climate, and coloniality.

The final workshop took place on March 17, 2025, at the University of Leeds, providing a behind the scenes look at our production Waterside
